Mixing Prints

Another Challenge from Nany"s Klozet and FlordeMariaFashion . They started these Weekly Challenges last week and I am loving them. :) Last week the challenge was to wear a Maxi Skirt which was not a challenge at all for me but this week.. the challenge was Mixing Prints!!! This one I did find it DIFFICULT!!! Reason why was: I didn't want to come up with an outfit just to take pictures in, I wanted something I would actually feel comfortable wearing OUT. I decided to play it "kinda safe"with  this really busy print dress and adding a leopard print belt and shoes :) …funny to mention I decided to wear this to a Cousins Graduation lol Hope you like. Xo

Blue Pants …Pink Lips

This outfit I wore someday last week … It was one of those days that you love the way you look in person but pictures are not the best. lol Out of so many pictures I only liked the one on the bottom texting one of my friends back. Lately I've been obsessed with thrift store shopping :) I usually only find tops but that day I found these amazing blue pants only for $5.. hope you like.

Este Outfit me lo puse un dia de la semana pasada.. fue uno de esos días que me encantaba como me miraba en persona pero en fotos para Nada, de tantas fotos la única que si me gusto fue la de abajo textiando. Ultimamente estoy obsesionada con ir de thrift store shopping :) usualmente siempre encuentro blusas pero esa ves encontré estos pantalones azules por solamente $5.. espero que les guste.

Ashes into Fashion Blog

This was a fresh start apart from AshleyRubi a blog that I created back in December 2009 to form part of my youtube channel AshleyRubi1 … the concept was totally different I would blog about celebrity gossip, fashion trends, beauty very few outfits of the day ect until I decided to start over with Ashes into Fashion.

Ashes into Fashion the name

The name AshleyRubi is not my real name … my real name is Ashley Nichole, 

Rubi was a nickname I got back in highschool thanks to the Novela Rubi … thanks to my eyes

 I knew I wanted a new blog name … my friend Marybel Macias @Merriiz helped a lot 

I had Ashes Clozet at first I love the name but I have 2 friends with closet in their name plus so many more I have seen so I wanted something different. Marybel gave me Ashes into Rubies I loved it too but I didn't want Rubi again … then it clicked Fashion .. Ashes into Fashion which it can mean more then just "Ashes"( which happens to be a nickname for my name) Fashion... My Fashion

to your ashes things you might not like or wear anymore turn into fashion  Hard to explain hope you can understand :)
